Subject: Concerning Luk Mai...Kai Ton, tape #11 and the characters.

Seems to me that Chonon is not there for Rasa as much as Rasa is there for him when he's sad or unhappy. She would find words to make him feel happier or better. Don't get me wrong, he's there for her, but I don't think he's as comforting as she is for him.

I have a problem with one of Rasa's friend. It's Bongkoh (not sure if spelling is right). She's a strong character and I like that in her, but what's her problem? Why is she so concerned if Chanon and Rasa get together? I don't understand much Thai so I'm not sure what I'm missing here. I know she's concerned about Rasa, her friend, but why can't she talk to Rasa in a more nicer way when the conversation is about Rasa and Chanon. Seems like Rasa's friend, Rote understands her more. She tends to know when Rasa is in pain and knows better not to say something that makes Rasa hurt more. Bongkoh seems to strongly disagree with Rasa being with Chanon. Why? Can some one help me understand this. I think Rasa knows what she's doing. She's a grown woman, let her make her own decisions and mistakes. So, if some one can help me understand this situation more, pls do so. Thanx in advance.
