Author: The OutLaw
Subject: Just a few visits... (featuring Ms. Winston, Alex Kane)

This was a dream come true. Rachel Winston, ...Ms. Winston, stood in the outer office of her own secretary as finished faxing a document for her. Rachel revelled as her secretary quickly, efficiently, and dutifully took the task of mailing the OutLaw's Doctor's release form to the GWA offices. She had at last accomplished all that she dreamed about for so long. She now had the wealth, and the power she had craved. And she had the OutLaw, and herself in no small manner to thank for that. For she had her own set of bruises to show for all they had done. Nothing to compare to what the OutLaw had suffered, but she had taken more than her fair share of lumps from one Sebastian Bock. A favor she would look oh so forward to returning.

But the OutLaw had been brutally attacked by Bock, almost having his very skull caved in. An attack that occurred after his bitter defeat to Bock, a defeat he didn't seem to acknowledge, nor an attack he cared to discuss. An attack that occurred after a defeat, that was somewhat caused by his protecting of Rachel Winston. Something that had quite shocked her. For if anything, the OutLaw could be the most coldest human being, and casually watch another's suffering. He went out of his way to insure her safety and check on her, at the expense of his match. Why? This was completely out of character. Trying to figure out the OutLaw was maddening enough, but now others were terribly interested in the relationship of the OutLaw and Rachel. More specifically, how she had had any control over the OutLaw thus far. Were the two tied together? Obviously. She knew the answer, but just couldn't believe it.

Rachel looked out of her secretary's office and into the hallway of the CTN floor she was on, and just admired all the individuals walking about. Catherine Jones had assembled the best to work for her (at the time), and now she could count herself amongst them. Yet one thing stood out to her about these people. Sure Trisha Van Reardon, Kevin O'Neill, and Alex Kane were the best amongst their fields, but she couldn't/wouldn't trust any of them as far as she could throw Chris Damm's fat arse. For all she had accomplished without her stepmother/best friend Deanna Raventhorne, she didn't have what she had with Deanna... friendship. Or had she?

Voice: Rachel! Rachel! Just the woman I've been looking for!

Rachel turned from her reverie to face Alex Kane, the host of CTN's most popular show. The show that spotlighted the happenings of the Circle in the GWA. She didn't need much to know exactly where the conversation was going...

Alex Kane: Rachel dear, I've been looking all over for you. (Rachel seemed to cringe from the false warmth she percieved from Ms. Kane, but managed to crack a half hearted smile of welcome. After all, she had a large corner office with her name on it, how hard could it be to find her?) We have just got to do something about this OutLaw problem.

Rachel: (?) Problem?

Alex: Yes, problem. Now that you and the OutLaw are Circle, I've been waiting for the chance to interview him on my show. But he never seems to return my calls!

Rachel: (A slight chuckle escapes her.) The OutLaw never returns anyone's call. I wouldn't be offended by it. Besides, the OutLaw doesn't consider himself to be truly Circle. He just goes on doing whatever he wants.

Alex: But YOU are Circle right? So as his manager, doesn't that make him Circle as well?

Alexandria Kane's eyebrow's lifted with smug curiosity, as her mouth twisted into a little smirk. This was the very thing that Rachel had begun to become concerned with. To another, they may percieve Ms. Kane as cute, possibly even angelic woman. To Rachel, she knew exactly what she was... a shark. A man eating predator, who waited for another to slip up, for the first sign of blood, ...then attack. Unlike the others' Rachel had gotten into the CTN through Mary Jane Francis, just to get at the OutLaw. To many, Rachel Winston had no discernible talent, but just to be a hanger on. First with Deanna Raventhorne, and now the OutLaw. To make matters worse, this was a woman who was allied with her to Mary Jane Francis. What would happen if she ran across Trisha Van Reardon? Or even Catherine Jones herself? Rachel Winston felt the need to constantly prove herself. That's why she constantly interjected herself into the OutLaw's matchs even though he never asked. Why she took the risk to become the Falconer Champion. Who else in the CTN could say the same? But would it ever be enough?

Rachel: I am in the Circle, and I am the OutLaw's manager. So he listens to me, and does things on behalf of the Circle if it suits him. But only if it suits him. If he just blindly listened and did whatever I said, he wouldn't be THE OutLaw, now would he? And you wouldn't want him on your show, now would you?

Alex: (Staring at Rachel, as if probing for another weakness...) No, I guess not. But then again, the OutLaw hasn't really been much of the feared OutLaw since he hooked up with you, has he? (Smiling)

Rachel: (Eyes narrowing..., a thin smile painfully crossing her face...) Nooo... (icily) But then he has been distracted and unfocused as of late.

Alex: (Nodding in mocking affirmation) Oh yess... Well, if you can get any version of the OutLaw to talk to me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I just hope the feared version, that Mary Jane wants shows up. For everyone's sake.

Rachel Winston suddenly wished she was more like the OutLaw at this very moment, as she desired to punch Alex Kane in her pretty little face as hard as possible. She imagined that if she was more like the OutLaw, her fist would already be returning from her blood moistened face. She'd be savoring the feeling of warm blood on her fist, as Alex Kane dropped to the floor in pain. Oh how she wanted this from the OutLaw...
...Wanted?

Rachel: Excuse me Ms. Kane. I just remembered I have to pick up my charge.

Alexandria Kane is suddenly taken by surprise as Rachel suddenly bolts and heads for the elevators.

This was boring! He'd done this a thousand times before, and it never got better. Just more routine everytime. The doctor shown the penlight in one eye, then the other. Then asked him to follow his finger with his eyes. The X-rays showed the expected injuries, but no signs of a concussion. Even though that was the greatest worry. The doctor sat back down across from the Outlaw, looking directly in his eyes, and sighing...

Doctor: You know, I have no idea how you do it. Short of the stories I hear about this Skylar Thomas, you have got to have the most incredible recuperative powers I have ever seen. I could write a paper on you alone. But I thought I made myself clear! No more of these supposedly hard core matches. If you're going to wrestle, just wrestle. No heavy weapons, no nothing. Just wrestle. Otherwise I will NOT write you another clearance.

The OutLaw: (Sitting there motionless...) ...hmph... I had the match to defend someone else's title. I hadn't planned on being beaten across the skull repeatedly. I just had a match with yet another nutless wonder, that needed to get over, and he decided to take a lead pipe to me. He wasn't the first, he wouldn't be the last. But it was a regular match for me.

Doctor: This Sebastian Bock, just took it upon himself to just beat on you with lead pipe, even after the match was over?

The OutLaw: Yup.

Doctor: (laughing nervously) I - I got to tell you. I for one would be VERY VERY upset. Yet you just sit there disinterested as ever.

The OutLaw: I learned awhile ago, from some guy known as the MVPrick, that it's just business. And I'll be taking care of business myself, soon enough. Dedeep! Dedeep! Scuse me...

The OutLaw pulled out his small cell phone and looks at the screen to see he's recieved an email from the GWA, undoubtedly with the new lineup for the Wednesday Insurrection. Something he hasn't bothered to check out...

The OutLaw: Are we done? I gotta roll...

The Doctor: Yeah Dave. Just promise me you're going to lay off these hard core matches, and just stick to basic wrestling. Otherwise I won't be clearing you again. Now get out of here! I'll see you in 2 weeks.

The OutLaw strolled out of the building and onto the street. He stood there in his baggy pants, black Magnum Tech boots, and "The OutLaw" GWA baseball jersey. People as they go by can't help but notice as they see a 6'3, black man with long blood red hair. But the OutLaw continues to just look out uninterested, not paying attention to anyone on the street. Rachel Winston noticed the OutLaw instantly, as her chauffered black Mercedes pulls up. The OutLaw just looks into the car at Rachel, not moving. Rachel stares back in disbelief...

Rachel: (Looking in disbelief, and laughing...) Would you get in the bloody car already?! (The OutLaw gets into the back next to Rachel, just staring straight ahead, the car takes off)

So, is everything alri--

The OutLaw: You got your laptop? Let me borrow it. (The OutLaw hooks up his phone to the laptop, and goes online, checking for his mail. A dry smirk crosses his face.)

Rachel: What? What?

The OutLaw: I'm just checking the schedule. I got an "I Quit" match with 'Shadow' Craven.

Rachel: What?! Why does he hate you so?

The OutLaw: I put his @$$ out of wrestling before! That's why he left and went into tag team wrestling. I beat his @$$ so bad, he was afraid to enter the ring by himself. Not that I blame him, there maybe another big bad monster like me waiting for him. Hell! I'll be the one waiting for him in that ring, and I'm going to put his sorry no talent butt out of action again. Because if Craven, a more fitting name for someone I have never heard of, thinks he's sticking his nose in my business again... I don't think so!

Once before that rat @$$ cost me the lightweight title against Nikki Silver, just to impress the members of the Circle and get membership. No other reason! Not because he hated me, or wanted a shot himself. Just to impress that band of jack@$$es! (Rachel shifts nervously) No. I haven't finished putting his Craven self out of wrestling for good yet, but come Wedsnesday I will!

But what really holds my interest is this bulls#!t about Damm VS. Cock & Beige, for the tag titles! What is this crap?! Just a way to tie up the belts between this two overrated suckups?! This way, the Gladiator, and the Falconer title are not defended, cause of belts that Damm shouldn't still have anyway. What a load of crap! (The OutLaw unhooks his cellphone, and tosses the laptop back to Rachel in disgust.)

Rachel: (Taking the laptop, putting it aside, and looking at the OutLaw nervously) I just want to say thank you.

Fade to black...
