But first, some spoken word
written about you
the time we spent
the things we'ld do
I use to be mad
and I had my reason
but lately,
I've been bored emphasizing the treason
so let's just draw a line in the sand
Not a confration
just a final stand
no make up sex or one night stands
cuase you don't deserve the sex I want to give you
let's hope over time I learn to forgive you
and wise up, to where I went wrong
although I got a clue or else I wouldn't waste a song

And yes, I remember when we first meet
snuck away from our dates to go smoke pot
paid 5 dollars to see a movie
sat in the parkinglot
I kept my hands to myself, my eye on you
there was no one else, although it's true
there were a few other heads on the rotation
but you and me exclusively owned the occation
SO BOLDLY, we embraced the new found
and ever step that we took was on solid ground
with good grass, for happy feet
we partied harder then anyone on our street
our love was cliche like the way I describe it
if you have that memory, reach out and grabbed it
AND HELP ME! UNDERSTAND!!!that what doesn't fit in my hand
was never really mine,
this is all that was ever really mine.
