Welcome to the Ya'Sou! Online Poetry Contest.

Rules and Guidelines:

There is no entry fee. By submitting your poem you will automatically be added to the Ya'Sou! Online mailing list where you will receive our quarterly online publication along with periodic news and contest updates.

Submissions should be sent by email only, attachments will not be opened so copy and paste your poem into the body of an email along with your name, address and bio. One poem per submission. Your poem can be any style and on any subject, however we will not accept anything of a violent nature. Author retains all rights.

The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2005. The winners will be announced on September 18, 2005.

The first place winner will receive a cash prize of $20.00 along with a copy of, her best yet - Sony Holland's latest CD, "I Get Around" http://www.sonyholland.com and a copy of Joanne Olivieri's soon to be released chapbook "Red Lanterns",http://joanneolivieri.tripod.com a poetic journey where Far East meets West and more...

There will be three "honorable mentions" who will receive Joanne's chapbook "Red Lanterns". All winning entries will be published in the October issue of Ya'Sou! Online.
