The method I use is this: I will grab the book and sit it on my lap on its spine so the pages can open on there own. I hold the book almost shut but yet allow the pages to part just slightly on there own. I have learned in time to watch for other signs.. sometiems the page will seem to be a differnt color or be glow in a way that is hard to explain. also at times I have seen faint fingers partin the pages and pressing down on the area of the books page ends so as to draw my attention. I use this method with any type of book. The bible is my favorite because it helps guide me in many ways. I also use this method to find things in reference books etc I ask for answers sometiems but most times I just do it spontaneously, i sit the book on my lap and let it open to where Im to read.
