I am beginning to wonder if the energy of the Pacific Northwest has changed how I dream because the themes and the dream symbols are so different. The dream I had this morning had two disticntly different parts, but they seemed somehow to be related.

In the first part of the dream I was walking along a path or street and the (yellow) house that I passed looked as if it had been torn in half. The family still lived there but were exposed so that everyone could see the business of their private lives. I noticed a young girl in her early teens upstairs in her bedroom preparing to dress.

In the second part of the dream I was in a park, in a midwest city, like maybe Minneapolis, Chicago, St. Louis. I could see the city's skyscrapers. It was a pretty sight to see. I was at a picnic table and all around me were people I wasn't familiar with, but they were arguing with me on who should have what space and what their needs were. As the arguing was going on, I hear a whistling sound. Suddenly I saw a missle destroy the tallest of the city buildings. I and a few others ducked under the table as large chunks of debris from the building were hurtling onto the park. The debris looked like pieces of sandstone blocks.

At some point the picnic table was a cover to an underground dwelling where the few of us who had survived were living. We were trying to decide who should go out and look for people, bring in supplies, etc. when another missile then destroyed the second largest building. Again the debris shot over onto the park. We were able to get some people into safety, but many more did not head our warnings and fled.

The military then came in to protect the city. I woke up shortly after that. Anyone want to take a shot at this?
