This is a dream a friend emailed me a while back and she said it was ok to post on the board for others to give there feelings on it. :)
I was in a house that is not my house and I live west of Seattle (quite a feat since there isn't much west of Seattle that is actual land). I was reading when I heard a horrific thunder that shook the house. I looked out my window and saw that Mt. Rainier had blown it's lid off. It was snowy, winter time, and while I was concerned, I was sure I was safe. I wanted to go to Seattle to see if I could help, but the tunnel between where I lived and Seattle was blocked with snow, ice and debris. that blocked passage was going to save all of us who were on the other side.
In my minds eye I saw that they city was experiencing something like a nuclear winter, but the lava hadn't flowed into the city. For now they were safe.
The next day I was working with some teenagers from some kind of office/school when I heard another thunderous roar. This time I was living north of the city of Seattle. I looked out of the window and saw that Mt. Baker that also erupted. My first thought was "Three Sisters" and I began to panic.
The kids I had been working with began playing pranks, such as moving our name plaques, hiding things and making us go on a "treasure hunt" to find them. I looked on some shelves and other areas of the darkened office, all the while I was worried about the "Three Sisters" and the volcanic eruptions and potential lava flow.
I didn't find any of my office materials/supplies so I went back to my office and looked out the window again and I can see the smoke and ash plumes rising in a series of finger like columns from Mt. Baker.
One of the students came into my office and asked if we are safe. Deep down I was fearful, but smiled and assured her that we were for now. Mt. Rainier was still very active, but I was cut off from the city and cannot go to help. We are still protected by the blockage but people are trying to remove the debris so they can get through.
I called my mother to assure her that I was okay, that I had survived the volcanic eruptions. She wanted to come out, but cannot.
I began to make plans to get out of the area, and away from the "Three sisters" and I knew if the third "sister" erupts, I will be trapped.
At the end of the dream I kept hearing "Three Sisters" over and over again. It was as if it means something important, but I am not getting what it is.
(Just to give you a bit of background for those who do not know. Three sisters is a mountain range in Oregon that has risen something like four inches in the past couple of years. That bulge is considered a precusor to volcanic activity).
This dream was strange even by my standards. The priamry message was THREE SISTERS. It kept repeating over and over in my head, this is the first one that I have really remembered in a long time. Very vivid!
