Your dream indicates to me a time in your life when everything was simple and everyone was together, you and your brother were "so to speak" partners in crime,best buddys. You coming up and finding yourself alone on the barge and the people not taking you back is an indicator of change or and/or upheavel. Things that once were are no more. You may even find your feelings changing, people may be going there separate ways. Also you may have to make a decision by yourself that could effect those around you.
