Subject: Board closing update -- EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS

Given some of the bizarre requests I have received by
e-mail and a couple of postings to this message board, let
me take a moment to expand and to clarify some issues.

(1) Only this message board is closing. The Quantum
Leap Information Kiosk and its fan fiction pages
will stay open.

(2) Read point number (1) again. Only the *message
board* is closing. Got it?

(3) Because of point number (1), people can stop
e-mailing me asking if they can have my web
site. The answer is no, you can not. It's
still open and I'm still running it.

(4) No, I will not help people find a new message
board nor will I put up links to the other existing
boards. I am amused to receive e-mail from
people who bailed on this board some time ago
and dissed me and my board on other forums asking
me now to send traffic to their new favorite
hangout. Get real vultures.

(5) New posts to this forum will be disallowed as
of March 01.

(6) To all the good people who mailed me thanking me
for my efforts all these years, I would like to
return the thanks to you. You are the true
QL fans and the reason I tolerated the annoying
people all along. I've gotten a lot from fandom
over the years for my favorite shows. This was
my way of giving back a little. However, everyone
has their limits on how much craziness one can
take.

(7) I have been requested to leave the old posts up for
a while. I will do that.
