um, a couple of things, if i can remember them:

the mission didn't end in vain--actually, it ended in vein. *groan, i know* It was a bit hard to tell, but the secrets from the Suliban were in the Klingon's blood.

we've already been thru the Klingon forehead thing, ad nauseum, just not here. most of it has been on the Trek boards.

Yes, I *want* to go back to Earth periodically. This isn't a five year mission after all. I need to see green. I need to see Starfleet hq. Does Archer have a mother? Do these people have family? Sure it's not sci-fi, but it's good background.

Also, point taken about there being only one conflict among the crew... tho i don't remember other conflicts on the other series (I won't watch DS9) I watched ...Farpoint and the looks on Deanna and Will when they met.... *sigh* It's not conflict, granted, and yet, in a way it would be. Back to ENT--they only had two hours, they had to squeeze in a plot. ;-)

The humor was good; I didn't foresee the transporter scene, but i was also in an environment where i could barely hear the dialog, so it was hard enough to just keep up. And besides, I almost read a spoiler on that, and I wanted *something* to be new.

I don't like dogs, but Porthos is cute! (maybe i just don't like big dogs. as for the odor, i'm like T'Pol

also I like Hoshi. I expect she'll get braver, but i like her being anxious. i can relate.

thanks for taking all the time to write so much. it was interesting
