Since Scott is now on Enterprise, it is unlikely he could do a new QL series. HOWEVER, he *would* have enough time during hiatus to film a QL feature and/or TV film(s).

I was reading a Q&A from the '96 LeapCon, and Deborah Pratt seemed to think that QL films might be better for reviving QL.

It almost made me cry when I was reading that transcript. Everyone was SOOOOO excited and ready to revive Quantum Leap. They would mention it... and then someone would mention Universal being in the way. Every single time, that's what happened.

And that con was 3 years before Universal started on a Quantum Leap project called "Quantum Leapers". Very lucky for us Leapers, however, was it never ended up seeing the light of day... 'Cause Scott wasn't even being considered for that project.

That was only two years ago next month... November '99. Can you believe it? Universal was actually thinking about Quantum Leap only two years ago.

Why won't they answer us now? I think they will soon. Hollywood is calling for less violent, more family-oriented scripts now because of Sept. 11, and Quantum Leap would certainly fit the bill.

I have an idea for getting Universal's attention, but I need to think it out a bit more before I tell anyone what I'm thinking. But don't worry.... Believe me, every single Leaper on AND off the Internet WILL hear what I am planning.... Trust me.

Joy C.
