He played Mr. Edward, the heavyset, bearded "manager" of Sam's Leapee in "The Right Hand of God".

PS: Another little bit of trivia: Joy Marchenko, Dean's ex-wife, played Ms. Brumford in "What Price, Gloria?".... the frowning, silver-haired (in a bun), librarian-type secretary with glasses.
