I know what you mean. However, this is feasible only if every body reply to the first (main) message of each thread.
You know, a thread is somewhat like a tree.
1.) A new message is the trunk of a thread (1st level).
2.) A reply is a branch of the thread (trunk) (2nd level).
3.) Another reply to the main message is another branch (2nd level).
4.) However, a reply to a reply is a branch of that branch (3rd level)
5.) Even though we have, say, 3 new messages, they might be replies to the different levels of the tree. Listing them in chronlogical order cannot reflect their hierarchical relationship, which is fundamental to the thread concept.
6.) Currently, if you click the main message of each thread, ALL replies will be displayed beneath, but they are not arranged in chronological order, but in hierarchical order.
7.) The workaround solution is always reply to the first message. In this way, all replies will become second level and they will be listed according to chronological order.
