With the company well on its way to expanding, this office along with Bishoff and McMahon have the great honor of announcing how the World Alliance Wrestling Heavyweight championship will be determined at the New Blood Rising pay per view. We decided that a traditional tournament is just not the way this company would like to see our first champion determined.

So with out keeping the public in anymore suspense! On July 23, 2003 in Toronto, Canada at the Skydome, the W.A.W will present New Blood Rising where in the main event the world title will be determined in a Ten-Man Gauntlet for the Gold Match. This match is the first of its kind as you will see ten fine wrestlers compete in the Iron Man style of match with one goal, to win the world title.

Now here are the rules for the Gauntlet for the Gold Match: This is one match with no breaks, no time outs, nothing can stop the match but the final pin or submission once the tenth man has entered the ring. The match starts with a random drawing to see who will start the match. The wrestlers who draw 1 and 2 will begin the match and will continue until a submission or pin fall has taken place. This will continue until nine men have been eliminated. There is no DQ, no count out, or interference of any kind!

There has been only one entry into this match and that person will remain a secret until the drawing on the RAW before New Blood Rising. The other nine spots are still waiting to be filled and they will go to the first nine that meet with me. This company is trying and will continue to bring the best product starting with the crowning of the new World Champion.
