I was in a good mood all day yesterday. And I still am for that matter. At any rate, my girl decided she'd like a grilled Chicken Sub from Tubby's. She asked me if I'd go. 8 O'Clock at night. Freezing cold outside. Sure.

Jammin to the Foo--fresh off their most recent Grammies--I walk into the Tubby's full of vigor. I start goofin around with the kid at the counter, some Brad Renfro type whose personality was just as lively before spotting the little girl in the back.

I keep them both in my tirade about the Grammies, the elections when I realize the little bitch looks just like Ellen Page. OH YEAH SUCKA!!! As I came to this quiet realization I also noticed that she was the boss. Just as she's about to finish my sandwich I send Renfro for a cup of soup. Juno comes to the front counter with two things: my sandwich and a smile. YEAH!!!

"Hey, you look just like Juno!"

She is stunned

"Doesn't she?" I ask Brad who may or may not be fucking her but it's not worth killing the little fucker over him furtively spitting into my soup.

"Whose that?" she asks trying to pretend like she doesn't know so that I will have to shower her with more-and-more praise. Now here I could have fear-or-lossed her by saying something like: "She's that girl who gets pregnant" or something equally as dismissive. But my journey through the world of Adderall has sharpened even my game. I say nothing because I know that my silence will only provoke her to start talking more and more about herself. Pretending to forget about my soup I impatiently say, "Can I get my sandwich."

THAT DID IT!!!

I could have fucked this little girl but I'm a Catholic.

After some more small talk she said if Obama was elected somebody would kill him and then all the blacks in Detroit would start rioting. WOW!!! You don't hear that kind of talk from this generation.

Renfro handed me my soup. Before leaving I asked her if she was German.

"Yes."
