You know I've been listening to people bitch both ways about affirmative action for years now but since it's never touched me directly I've never cared. Well, as I wait to hear back on my big interview in the food service industry a white buddy of mine shared an amazing story with me today while he was helping me move.

I told him that Detroit was looking for 500 cops and he said he was well aware. You see, he's been trying to get in for almost two years now. He's got all the schooling, the credentials, served his country honorably as an MP in the Navy. Yet, he has been unable to secure a position. When he went down a few months ago to fill out new paperwork his Puerto Rican girlfriend accompanied him. As a lark, this dropout, bi-sexual drug addict whose been convicted of numerous crimes and has a child out of wedlock filled out an app as well.

Guess who they called the other day?

Guess who was drunk when he found this out? ME!!! Guess who punked out every spic, nigga and whatever the hell is now crawling around my once all-white home town? They ain't shit.

There's a bad storm rising. I WANT Obama to win.
