Please delineate for me why Bill Maher should be allowed to keep his show while Don Imus deserved to be fired? According to you the reason Imus had to go was because he had entered the political realm. Well, it seems to be Maher has always been there and in fact, has many of the same guests on his show as did Imus.

Bill Maher has offended me as a Roman Catholic. I enjoy his show and don't want him fired but it seems it is only fair that he should be fired if Imus was fired for what he said.

Be honest and admit that the only reason this will NEVER happen is because Imus went after blacks and Maher goes after Catholics.
