I've yet to see "There Will Be Blood" but I think it should have won. It takes balls to make a statement like that. I'd wanted to see it and on numerous occasions I was in front of the theatre to see it but my pregnant girl said she was too tired. Irregardless, Old Men was not a good movie.

Javier Bardem (or whatever his name is) won best supporting actor. How? He sucked. Hoffman was BRILLIANT in Charlie Wilson and I didn't even know Hal Holbrook was up for anything (and to be honest...still alive) but once I saw he was I felt he should have won. At least Bardem, a White Spaniard, showed respect for the audience before breaking into Spanish for his mother. I had no problem with that. Unlike the guy at the last debate who I wanted to strangle.

But it wasn't a lost weekend. No. As I was on the verge of--once again--losing my mind it all worked out in the end. I figured some shit out thanks to the dream state. Thanks to Catherine Zeta-Jones and my old Marine Corps Col. I was with Catherine and I was eating her pussy and it tasted great. I've never really given her too much thought but that is a classy chick that must exude something peculiar to lunatics and perverts--anyone else see "Breach"?

Then, for some reason, I was back in front of my Colonel. We were all in the desert and I was in trouble for something but she was trying to help me get a job. Is it because of what I went through there that I'm having such a hard time? What did they do to me? I don't know. I've been hesitant to pursue anything white collar since I've been back. Some girl who thinks she used to work with me--if she did she'd know--has been emailing me about an IT Recruiting job. Women get married and change their last name. It could be a trap. I'm taking my gun with me.
