"I'm not following, unless you mean the underlying subtext to Christianity that keeps the poor happy being poor because guys like Erik Prince keep them thinking salvation is the ultimate reward is the point of that song."

You decide the level of your own involvement. Erik Prince figured this out. He also served his country. Navy SEAL. Are you kidding me. He's everything Bush is not. Plus he backed Buchanan, is from Michigan and CONVERTED TO CATHOLICISM.

He'd snipe Keillor coming out of the theatre.

Look, when you flippantly suggested I go work for Blackwater, I was about to mock you for, yet again, hopping aboard the latest Left-Wing Buzz attack (how far down the list are you from Garafalo?) but I was intrigued by it.

The whole Blackwater debate has been sitting dormant in my brain. I saw the Iraq for Sale doc, I saw Prince go before the Senate (or the House--I don't remember). I just remember his cool haircut, the fact that he was a SEAL and that he had his own company. How many Corporate CEO's have military service these days. And I know you play the video games and therefore must have some understanding of what special forces are like but just to be safe: THEY ARE INSANE!!!

I just figured this dude was some up-and-comer who kicked some ass and then got rich with his special training because it was passion.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!

If Prince does take over...he deserves to. As I said, how many rich kids even join these days? In a declining Empire the rich do all they can do shirk that responsiblity. This motherfucker not only joins BUT BECOMES A SEAL!!! You've seen "G.I. Jane" right? It's actually pretty close (except it's ludicrous to believe a middle-aged woman could have gotten through it. Any woman for that matter and you know it. I couldn't have done it. Not at my age. As a Marine, I could have went SEAL. I could have went Recon. I had the PFT score. But I was too old. Boot Camp was rotten enough--you can't smoke; can't drink.

I digress.

Prince is a bad-ass motherfucker who comes from a good family and converted to a great Religion. You'll be converting to it one day as well.
