OK, I am so PUMPED up right now. Why hasn't Iron Man made his way into the upper echelons of popular culture!!!? This is the greatest of all the super heroes!!! Because like Batman, who is now the second coolest, HE IS REAL!!!

A black kid from Georgia turned me onto him last winter. We worked together and we became instant friends after he noticed my Marine Corps issued Boots. He was from the South, served in the Army, was adamantly opposed to illegal immigration, was weird like me and liked Superheroes. I brought in my Civil War #1 and he took it home and drew Iron Man and sang the old 60's theme song word for word.

I only share this because I'm totally hammered right now. But I think it's a nice anecdote.

Iron Man, like Batman, is RICH. Iron Man, like Batman, FIGHTS. Iron Man, unlike Batman, has issues and is a raging alcoholic. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!?

Now, it turns out, that Robert Downey, Jr. is set to play him and that Gwyneth Paltrow is his girl. HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!

I'm glad I was guided to Superman because Iron Man isn't for kids. But now I'm an adult.

Iron Man RULES!!!
