 You don't have to like "Pan's Labyrinth," but to suggest that "The Cell" stands above it is laughable. "The Cell" is what happens when a music video director thinks that overflowing a standard thriller plot with trippy but largely random and nonsensical visuals automatically equals visionary filmmaking.
