Tina,

What is that known temperament issue? I don't know, Mr Harris has eluded that there is one, although he has not elaborated.
I'm just reserving jumping to conclusions about any supposed issue with temperament because this was brought up by a man who seems to have something personal against Tashi, and Tashi used Gordo as a stud. Now I will not take sides on that one either, because I don't know David at all, nor what is between the 2 of them.

All I know was that I have followed Norman and Tashis videos for the last few years. I am very impressed in the lengths they have gone to in training and health testing their dogs. If Gordo was showing some terrible temperament problems in all those videos that were posted of him doing OB and bitework, I sure didn't catch them. Then again, I am no expert.

I actually talked with Tashi for a couple of hours one evening. We talked at length about Batu and Gordos pairing, and she was VERY thorough in giving the pros and cons of each dog. I won't quote what she said, because I'm afraid I'll get it wrong. But I was left with the impression that Batu was a very civil dog, and Gordo was more goofy and friendly. She hoped that their temperament differences would balance out in the pups.

Tashi, please correct this if i am wrong!

I just don't think it's fair for people to go jumping all over someone who is TRULY trying to better the breed. There are many other breeders that deserve criticism, but Tashi is not one of them.
