Thanks Jen One of my brothers did the video. It took about 1 hour 45 minutes + 35 minutes of rest. After 5 miles we had 20 minutes then after 4 more we had 15 minutes. The way that I condition my dogs is comparible to conditioning I did training for sports. I make them run gassers or wind sprints. What I do is take my dogs to a park then cut them loose. I then ride my bike as fast as I can back and forth across a quarter mile stretch. Until I notice they are foaming and breathing heavily. Once I think they are to tired to continue I give them time to catch their breath then back to the sprints. It is a great way to tire them out. They are too tired to do anything but rest for a day or so. Once I see them back to full strength I run them again. I did this 3 times a week for 6-8 weeks in preparation for weight pull and the AD. On the last week though I noticed Pluto had run his toe nails down too far from running on the pavement. So what I did was make him do sprints on the grass with the weight pull harness. Take it slow and excersize them on an empty stomach. I don't think 7 months is too young just don't forget that you still have a puppy don't over do it.
