Tina, sorry you couldn't make it. Tom is already making plans for next year as this is going to be an annual event. He will probably have it earlier in the year to avoid the bad weather that we had this weekend. We are thinking maybe May would be a better time. He is also considering scheduling an indoor seminar this winter.

It was really hot and humid on Friday, in the high 90's, and then we had a storm come through where it rained several inches within an hour and flooded out some of the roads down along the river. The rain started coming in sideways, and even though we had a really nice pavilion, you had to stand in the middle to stay dry. That was around 3:00 p.m., so we all loaded up and went over to Tom's building to continue work.

The facilities were perfect -- high on a hill surrounded by woods about a mile off the road. Tom thought of everything when he organized it. Human conveniences of course -- toilet facilities, covered pavilion, water, electricity, etc., but then he also thought about the dogs. There was a doggy wading pool so the dogs could take a dip to cool off.

Keep it in mind for next year. I will let everyone know when it is scheduled. It would be great to meet you and your dogs!!
