i just want to add, YES there is a live hunt taking place with dogs. All animals caught will be going to local charity. Last year I belive they were able to donate 2000lbs of hog meat. ( This hunting event takes place off premises, legally hunted dead hogs are brought in and weighed in on premises and then moved to a refrigerated trailer to be taken for processing to feed the hungry throughout Texas, Last year 75 teams participated and produced over 28,000 lbs of pork, making this event the largest in the world of its kind, contestants that placed were recieved over $7000.00 in cash and prizes last year)
If your squeemish of that please don't attend that area. Killing will not take place at the expo, but out in real hunting ground using dogs.
There will not be any dead animals on premises on Saturday all hogs will be weighed in starting at 9 am on Sunday morning
There will be a line of trucks and trailers wrapping around the building starting early Sunday morning, as the contestants will be in a drive through to check in their entries
As most know hogs are BAD down here. Please, no drama on this!!!
