"Dog Shows" including the AKC, UKC ect. have been ruining breeds of dogs since I can remember. To me (a plain ole country boy). Breeding working dogs for "show" is a joke on it's face. The "breed standard"? Freakin laughable. Then these folks that breed these freaks sell these dogs for big bucks on the weight of "best in show" and other such BS. Before you say I sound like I am from Mars someone please tell me why most all of the police and military dogs come from Europe?? I'm sure this will stir some folks up but it is what it is. For over 20 years I was Pitbull through and through. Their worst enemy wasn't SPCA or other leftist groups but the high percentage of trash keeping them. With the popularity of the Boerboel I can hear the same train coming. What do ya do?
