Michael, I respect your right to your opinion, although I just don't agree with it. Nothing personal. It's the mindset. Never buy a dog from a breeder that feeds the fanciest foods and has all of the contraptions to save a puppies life. I swear on my life, I walked into a whelping room once that had a very expensive (thousands $) ozone/air treatment contraption. They're treating the environment for Pete's sake!!! How about just opening a window? Even the most sickly runt will skate right by into someones home.

Have you ever heard of what these dogs eat in South Africa? One of the toughest dogs I've ever met was a little JR terrier mix that survives to this day purely on the vermin it caught and whatever food it can steal. How's that for diet? And it will live a fully happy life of twenty typical American dogs that get fed all of the latest psychologically guilt marketed crap on the store shelves. If not one but many more thousands of dogs are able to not only survive but thrive on regular old kibble such as Purina and Pedigree, then what's the point of feeding it a bunch of fufu crap? We enjoy eating all kinds of garbage but no way Fido is going to drink any other bottled water that doesn't have Cesar Milans picture on it.
