Hello Jenn,
For individuals who are attending our Fort Mifflin Ghost Tours, we have been sending the directions via email when we confirm that a payment has been received. Those emails go directly to the person reserving their spot in the tour. Reservations are the only way (currently as of 10/26/00) that you can attend a tour. But, for those of you who are simply interested in visiting the fort during normal business hours, here are the directions:

From Center City, Points North of Center City
New Jersey via Ben Franklin Bridge/Walt Whitman Bridge

South on I-95 take Exit 13 (Island Avenue/Enterprise Avenue). A short distance after leaving the off ramp there is a sign for Old Fort Mifflin. Make a left onto Fort Mifflin Road. Go one mile, make a left into Fort compound.

From Delaware County, Chester, State of Delaware
Commodore Barry Bridge from South Jersey

North on I-95 take exit 10 (Philadelphia International Airport/291) drive past the airport to the large intersection at Island Avenue (the Hilton Hotel will be across from you on the right). Make a right onto Island Avenue. Follow the road around, and make a right onto Fort Mifflin Road. Go one mile, make a left into Fort compound.
