Hello,

Perhaps there is no additional info on these places because the owners/caretakers do not want their place to be known as being 'haunted' and nothing more. We see this all the time. For example, ESP (Eastern State Penitentiary) is known by local residents, former inmates, former and present day employees, etc, to be haunted. However, the building is not still in existance for that reason. It still stands today, and is open for tours, because of it's natural history. Not ghostly history. The natural history, in a lot of these places, is something to be remebered. So, many of the onwers would rather keep the 'haunting' info quiet. Otherwise it may, or may not, ya never know, take away from it's true meaning for being there. Hope you understand.

As for MTV being wrong for allowing these people to be in these places alone. Well, I think it's fine. Afterall, they signed up (and sign release form, agreements, etc) for it knowing that anything is possible when it comes to the tasks they may have to perform.

As for the ghostly phenomena they may experience, I don't see a problem with that either. In all of the years we have been conducting investigations, we have never encountered something mean or nasty. Based on our findings, ghosts (spirits) are nothing to fear. It all depends on how you perceive them. Two different people could experience the same thing and both see it differently. One could be scared out of their mind while the other thinks the experience was cool. But, the spirit is not responsible for their behavior and thoughts about the situation. The individuals are. Know what I mean?

Sharon
