Hello Ben, I tried to post a reply mess the other day, I guess it didn't go through. Anyway I am not an expert I have just experianced quite a few, Your not crazy. Ghost like us to think were crazy. They try to get our attention and someone who does not belive in them, Do not notice them so I would guess the ghost has to work harder to get your attention and let you know their there. I dont know why exactley why they want to scare us i just know they try to. My sister had something like that happen before, she thought someone was in her house so she called the police late one night and they thought she was nuts. There were no signs of forced intering, no finger prints or anything. But a week later she saw the tall dark figure inter her sons room late one night so she ran in there and turned on his light and nothing was their. She knows she saw it and sometimes she would hear dishes rattling. So she moved out. So im not positive if you had one it sounds very possible.
