I am one of the members of the PGHA and like Lew, I was pleasantly surprised at your inquiry. I have to say that no one in the group is able to completely detach themselves emotionally during the investigations. Everyone in the group at one time or another has expressed emotions related to an investigation site. Personally, I have two locations that provoke emotion in me when I think about them. They are Bristol Cemetery and Fort Mifflin. At Bristol, (you can also read about this in my reports) I find myself ending up at a particular grave. At this site, I have captured orbs on film, have had extreme feelings of grief and peace. I have stood in front of this grave for periods of time to try to walk away and found out that my shoe laces have been untied. It has made me laugh at the nature of the gag. For me, I feel a strange acceptance at this place. The same goes for Fort Mifflin. I have had some very intense experiences at this site and yet, I feel like I belong at this place. It feels very peaceful for me. In conclusion, we try to keep these feelings in check on investigations, but we don't ignore them. I know my feelings at places like this have led to numerous anamolous pics and many interesting experiences. We pay attention to the feelings, but we try not to be directed by them. Thanks again for briging out the human side of this endeavor. It is a joy to hear from someone who is interested in more than another story.
