When I was young me and my family had a strange animal spirit experience.
When my grandfather was still alive, and i was about 13 we lived in a large dutch colonial house in upper darby, outside of philadelphia. We had 2 cats, one which lived throughout the house and went outside alot, and another cat which lived only in the attic, under the close watch of my aunt. This attic dwelling cat i nick-named the 'wildcat'.
The 'wildcat' gradually, like all things got old and sick, and had to be put down.
Later that day when my grandfather returned from the vet after putting the cat down, i was helping him install an in-window air conditioner, when we both heard the dead cat crying from the other room. This sound belonged specifically to this cat as it was known to make this noise while living. The cries continued untill we were both to scared to remain in the attic and returned downstairs.
over the next few days all my family experienced these 'noises' made by the deceased cat, but they eventually went away.
This was one of the few ghost experiences that i have experienced which was so audio based, and one of the few animal ghosts i have encountered which has made it quite unique.
