Hello Kelly,

I visited the site you mentioned to see the info about the pic. It is my understanding that the title of the painting is: "The Hands Resist Him" and not, "Surfing Apocalypse". Visit this link --> http://mecati.com/ispi/index2.htm to see an interview with the current owner. At the bottom of this page (scroll almost all the way down) you will find information about the new owner and his experience, or lack of, with the painting.

Although the painting is very interesting, I personally had no "funny" feelings while viewing it. Hope this has helped.
