Hi Janet,
I only live about 7 minutes from Jim Thorpe. I don't really know the specifics but I do know people who have worked there. I beleive that floor is closed off to the general public unless you are on some sort of tour or know the right people :) Jim Thorpe has about a total of 10-11 KNOWN supposed haunted buildings. And here is a tip, don't concentrate on the obvious ones too much like the Inn and the Packer Mansions. Alot of that is to bring in the tourists. There are others that the activity is alot more intense and historic. If I can find my list of the places in Old Mauch Chunk (Jim Thorpe) I can send you them in an email. Jim Thorpe,Mauch Chunk then, had a very violent history because of the mix of laborers that stayed there and called it home. The main three that hated each other were the railroad workers, canal workers, and the miners. Then add the Molly McGuires to the mix and you have a very beautiful but violent historic town.
