Here are my proposed questions for the interviews. Mike


Candidate Set Questions

Approximately how old are you: under 55, 55 - 60, 60 - 65, 65-70, over 70?
Do you have a computer?
Do you listen to music at least twice a week?
Do you own any of the following: walkman (tape or CD), digital camera, video camera?

Skill Set Questions

How often do you surf the Internet?
Do you have a CD player?
Do you have a walkman?
Do you find new technology fun to learn or frustrating (scale 1 - 10, to being fun)?

Specific Questions

When do you listen to music?
Do you like to have the ability to carry a music device with you or do you prefer that it is stationary?
Do you use headphones?
How much would you pay for a small, portable music device?
How often would you use such a device?
How would you use such a device?
Assuming you were to buy such a device, would you enjoy numerous features or would you prefer a device with few features (scale 1 - 10, 10 being more features)?
If you had a simple walkman (tape or CD), what feature(s) would you add, if any?
If you had a simple walkman (tape or CD), what are its most important features?
What do you find to be the optimal button size (pencil head, dime, quarter size, larger)?
How do you feel about menu driven selections, where you scroll through a list of selections with buttons and select one from the list?
On a scale of 1 - 10, how enjoyable do would you find making your own music CD's or tapes utilizing the internet (10 being more enjoyable)?
Regarding the last question, what would be the most important feature that would make creating your own music CD or tape easier/more user friendly?
