Subject: turkey will lose to england? no way!

i found this small article in an online newspaper called the Turkish Daily News. one section is full of funny but true sports stories, and this is one of them. just read and laugh. frankly, i think if england were to play against turkey now, turkey will make stuffing out of them. england has 6 months to create a miracle.

Turkey doomed -- it's in the lager!
Remember, you read it here first. When Turkey's national soccer team plays England in Euro 2004 qualifying on April 2 next year, it will lose 3-0. At least, so says Ann Leatherdale, landlady of the Swan pub in Brewood, Staffordshire who claims to be psychic and to have seen the result in the froth on top of a pint of Miller draught lager. The froth, says Ms. Leatherdale, forms numbers and she has made several previous correct predictions, including England's reaching the last 8 at the World Cup and the correct score, 2-1, of its Euro 2004 qualifier in Slovakia. "I am confident England will thrash Turkey," she told the Sun, "though my customers aren't so sure after the way we played against Macedonia!"
