Subject: Awesome Theory On Competition Practices

Hey Again!

Well, I feel like I'm the only posting these days, but I found something really interesting that deserves to be posted here! I don't know how many of you have watched the UCA National High School Large Varsity Competitions but if you have, you might recognise the name "Houston High School". I was surfing a cheerleading message board today and came across a post asking how much everyone practices before a competition. One of the girls from their team posted and I thought I would share it with you all;

"The 2 or 3 weeks before a competition we practice 7 days a week. Usually 2 to 3 hours a day (depending on how good or bad practice goes). But I have learned that no matter how long or hard you make a group of people practice, if they dont truly want it bad enough, all you hard work is done in vain. And that's the one thing we have so much of, is the drive to keep pushing harder at every practice than we ever have before."

I think this should be our new motto! What do you guys think? Let's push HARDER AT EVERY PRACTICE THAN WE EVER HAVE BEFORE!

See Ya All Monday!
Amanda
