Brother Rodrigo and fellow ex-disciples,

I was known in the Centre as Swadhin, owner of the Smile of the Beyond and the Ringmaster for Madal Circus. This is known to quite a few who follow this board, although I left the Centre over 20 yrs ago. (I was there from 1970-80).

It is July 27 and I just read your post for the first time and it reflects my feelings exactly. Thanks for expressing yourself so extremely well.

I haven't been able to write anything since I read the latest revelation by Flex(Ullas) since it totally clobbered me. I even had two dreams about the "deceptive one" that night and woke up feeling completely miserable.

Somehow, I held out the all-too-human, I believe, hope that somehow, someway, somewhere, there might just be some explanation of our ex-guru's truly remarkable and completely undeniable offenses against just about everything that is True, Beautiful, and Good.

It still sickens me to read and think about what Flex has to say in her posting, which for me, finally, puts the last nail in the coffin of the hope I had mentioned earlier.

I know it sounds ridiculous that after all the revelations (completely compelling and utterly believable) that have been posted on this board, and in spite of the tone and content of some of my earlier postings, that I would still hold out some hope of an explanation, on some level, for at least some of his, up until now, utterly unbelieveable behavior, not only the sex stuff but ALL the deceitful, misleading, and false .....well we all know what I'm mean.

After reading your (Rodrigo) message just now, I just wanted to get this off my chest. It's hard, very hard, to give up the idea of myself as being Swadhin. I'm grappling with this in a very hard way.

Along with the Course in Miracles, which I have delved into myself for a few years, I also highly recommend to those who perhaps are unaware of "The Power of Now" and it's follow-up "shortened" version, by Echart Tolle. It's a pretty amazing book, one in which I've found great comfort.
