I remember in the Sri Chinmoy Center during the mid-eighties, a "close" boy disciple named Pu**n was taken by "deprogrammers" and Sri Chinmoy launched a massive campaign to regain him. I was selected as part of a special posse to drive to New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, for the stake out. We had a room in a Howard Johnsons motel, and San**an was the head honcho in charge of operations. One of the things that shocked me was at night, driving past Dh**u, who was up a ladder, with a helper handing him tools, fiddling with wires on an electricy pole!I asked the driver of the vehicle I was in, what was happening, and he told me that Dh**u was wire tapping the phone line of the house that Pu**n was in, so they could listen into the conversations! I thought to myself--"is'nt his a federal offence"? But then I quickly thought policed myself, and thought, oh well, it's all for Guru, so it must be ok. !!That story just came to me the other day, after all those years.
