Who's tobi v?
You've got some good points there whoever you are and i'm not just trying to be hilariouusly ironic. There are definitely a select few who treat the "punk scene" as a club with uniforms etc, but i believe they're either in the minority or at least they don't matter enough to be of any threat to whatever you're getting stressed about. In all large followings there's going to be some elitist beggars who actually care what you wear (in this case, what band is printed on your hoody), but i've yet to meet anyone who has put me at a disadvantage because of what i wear. By the way, i'm not a punk. I'm in the mike ward allstars but, as has been said, Greg or Dan or anyone else has never criticised me for not being "punk enough", purely because they don't see it like that. Now i don't actually know what messages you refer to, but i'm sure you're really overreacting and using it as an excuse to have a go. (Actually, i've just realised that this is probably a big joke from someone in the band or a close friend.)
I also genuinely agree about the "we're not mainstream" thang. Bands in the proper 'ard music business are there to make money, so people who slag them off are doing as much good as slagging off a doctor for doing an operation.
What do you mean by "try respecting someone you don't know"? Maybe you should try getting to know the people you disrespect. Greg ain't no organiser of the MWAS. Er ist nicht the furer. And don't get pedantic and correct the German please.
