Subject: Hold front page!! God cancells Christmas shocker!!!

In a moving press conference today, God told us about the pressures of ruling the world. "I love my work, I really do, but Christmas really does have to be cancelled." This tremendous blow came after rumours that Christmas was to be postponed after a series of public arguements between God and Mary. "Me and Mary have had our fair share of problems, I admit, but it isn't anything we can't handle. However, Christmas is always a busy time, and I just think cancelling it will be the best course of action. I don't want to do it, but the strain is starting to show in all of us - it's just not fair to put my family through this"

God, much loved figurehead of Christianity, would not comment on his sons antics in the temple. Jesus was in the temple when stall holders aggrovated him, and he allegedly made a violent attack.

"I can't speak for Jesus, he is his own man, but I think the pressure of fame is getting to him"

Well, here at the Daily Bread, we are appalled at this terrible loss, and we are starting the "Save Christmas For Christ's Sake" fund (or the SCFCS fund)
We urge you to call our hotline, and pledge some money, other wise we don't know what will be next. Easter axed? Shrove Tuesday banned?? Only God really knows, and he's not letting on. We will be the first to inform you when any news breaks out. Unlike our rival paper, the Northern Star, who are still getting it wrong.
