Well I guess I'm lucky coz I seem to be able to scrounge money off my mum all the damn time even though I know we aren't quite as well off as some are (no, this isn't a working class rant or nothin', I'm just saying)
And to be fair, it was on a college night, and it was four quid to get in (I even had to pay, even though I missed the two bands I wanted to see - MWAS and WW - coz I was helping Karla on the door)
And yeah I know people get money to go to room, but I have gone to room quite a few times with only a quid to get in and perhaps 50p to hang my coat up with if it's cold and I'll walk there and back on my own usually, which is pretty damn dangerous in this day and age. Don't worry about it, it's just wanna those things, sometimes you get good crowds and sometimes not, just like I bet the bands play badly some nights (as I'm sure those who were in Kenny could sympathise - no offense guys, it was always entertaining, though you gotta admit quite shambolic) but most of the time things go according to plan. Don't hold it against people coz there not there, we can't go to every gig ever in the world that we want to/that our mates are involved in.
At least we are there some of the time, it's better than nothing, so just chalk it up to a bad experience and forget it, and keep your fingers crossed that the next time more people are there. Anyway, lecture over, class dismissed!!

Dear me, I feel all worn out after all that positive talk...better go lie down....
