Subject: deck on second story roof

Hello

I want to build a deck on top of the second story of my home. Everything I've been finding out about decks deals with them on the ground.

Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Thanks
Michael

Before you do anything else - I strongly urge you to seek out a professional structural engineer that is licensed or registered in your area and has the knowledge and expertise to review the existing structure to see if it can take the additonal load factors, and remember - DOCUMENT EVERYTHING IN WRITING.
In addition, contact your local building or code department for their input.
Its better to be SAFE than SORRY.
