Subject: roofing

I have a mobile home with an addition. The left side of the house consists of the kitchen and dining room with a low pitch roof to match the mobile home roof. Behind that are two bedrooms and the laundry room with a ridiculously high pitch and windows on the right side facing out over the mobile home roof. The right side and back of the house are still mobile home walls. There is a foundation underneath. I need a roof. I have huge leaks where the shingles, rubber roof and bottom of the bedroom windows meet. I want to go over the entire house. Can it be freestanding? I've been considering metal roofing. Any advice is appreciated.
