Subject: Supporting Roof Rafters

I have been told by a friend that he thinks my builder may have "overspanned" my roof on one side without adequate supports. I have a 9\12 pitch and the rafters are 2x6 spaced on 16 inch centers. There is a knee wall supporting the rafters about 8 feet in from the outside wall of the house. Then there is about 19 feet of rafter before it ties into the ridge beam. this is my area of concern. There is no support to that 19 feet. Should there be?

I'm not too concerned with them on 16" centers. He may have considered using 2x8 but this is probably good.
