Its hard for me to brainstorm some ideas without seeing it. I know it can be done. Its too bad that the railing wasn't something the roofing company was forced to roof around when your roof was installed. Was the railings mounted to the deck of the roof or through the deck of the roof? Was it a torchdown roof or an emulsion roof? Does the railing need to be cosmetic or structural? As a roofing contractor I would have rather delt with this during the install rather then after. Can you e-mail me a picture? owner@roofadvice.net

Its better to demand it be done the way you want it in the beginning rather then after.
