Subject: Rubber/Vinyl Roof

We recently purchased a 1979 24x44 mobile home which has a tin/metal roof that has been covered with a solid sheet of what looks like white rubber or vinyl. The roof covering comes down to the edge of the roof and then is fastened in place. What maintenance should a roof of this type require? Can/should we put "Kool Deck coating" on it? What should be clean it with? We've never seen anything quite like this roof. Any advice of maintenance of care of this "different" roof would be most helpful. Thanks very much.
