Subject: Flat roof over porch

What kind of roof would you suggest on a flat roof over a backporch. It has no pitch. Would you suggest asphalt shingles or the asphalt paper etc. Can you use asphalt paper without sealing the seams?

I would recommend torch down.

Do not install an asphalt laminate on any thing less then 3/12 with ice and water shield under the whole area and a three-tab composition on anything less then 2/12 with an ice and water shield. When it comes to any thing LESS THEN 3/12 though I personally won't give any product a workmanship warranty other then torch down.
