HELP? RARE STANG?
I am looking for any information on Late Model Mustangs with number "1" VINS. I have a chance to buy a 1996 GT 4.6 with VIN ending 100001. According to Ford they start the production run with that number.

I have collected some rare Chevy stuff, and you never get a chance to buy a Chevrolet with the 1 VIN as they are all evaluated and then crushed or go to GM museum.
A Camaro etc with a first produced VIN would be worth big $$$.
Does Ford normally release the first car built for public ownership? Also, with the 4.6 motor first in 1996 Mustangs, would this also be the first 4.6 Mustang ever built?

Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks, picdev@aol.com
