I got an '84 mustang with a 5.0 (carb) and I putting on an overdrive transmission from an '89 5.0(F.I)obviously computer controlled,my question is how can I make if work? I already installed the tranny and the car runs, the problem is that it does not shift into any other gears, it stays on first the whole time,a friend told me that this would work, that i wouldn't need the computer for the tranny to make it work,if someone outthere can help me out with this I appreciated, thanks.
